This slot is for individual mentoring sessions for youth/young adults enrolled in Atlanta GLOW’s 6-month mentoring program. This session will be conducted via Zoom video conferencing. You will receive the access instructions via email prior to your session. Please note that the Zoom password will be “atlglow” for mentors and mentees. Please join as an attendee, as no host should be required. Please text Ashlie James if you have any technical issues at 404-277-1234.
It is required that participants schedule mentoring sessions with their assigned mentor at least once monthly, however more is permissible. Our attendance policy allows for up to 1 missed excused absence from monthly sessions.
Cash incentive payout is only eligible for up to one session per month. Participants who miss the maximum number of program sessions allowable may be removed from the program and/or forfeit part or all of the allotted program cash incentive. Early withdrawal will also result in forfeiture of the full program incentive.
If you have any non-urgent concerns during the course of your enrollment, or need to withdraw from the program for any reason, please schedule a “Mentoring Check-In” appointment with our Executive Director, Ashlie James, using this online platform. Atlanta GLOW members and mentoring pairs may reserve appointments at Mentoring Café, a designated lounge and shared workspace where they may come to complete their mentoring sessions, access a small library of college and career resources, and use computer stations to complete schoolwork and/or college/job applications. Our Mentoring Cafe is located at 3100 Interstate North Circle SE, Suite 261, Atlanta, Georgia 30339.
Groups coordinating period supply drives may schedule to drop off their product donations to Atlanta GLOW. IMPORTANT: Period product pick up/drop off location is located at our storage units at Extra Space Storage (4676 S Atlanta Rd SE, Atlanta, GA 30339). We do NOT do period product distribution at any of our program sites or administrative office.
We are able to accommodate product pick ups via standard size sedans/compact SUVs up to twice a month. IMPORTANT: Period product pick up/drop off location is located at our storage units at Extra Space Storage (4676 S Atlanta Rd SE, Atlanta, GA 30339). We do NOT do period product distribution at any of our program sites or administrative office.

Atlanta GLOW provides mentorship, life skills training, financial literacy, leadership development, workforce readiness and wellness opportunities to underserved women and girls, ages 14-25, to ignite their potential to lead and thrive.
